Five people face drug charges after meth lab bust

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Five people face drug charges in Scott County.

Sikeston police responded to a tip regarding a meth lab on Monday night at 210 Harry.

Officers could smell a strong odor and immediately evacuated the home of five adults and five children.

All of the children were placed in the care of family members.

Cleon Milton, 34, Heather Propst, 22, Joshua Propst, 25, Richard Ring, 34, and Alicia McKenzie, 28, all of Sikeston are charged with manufacturing meth and endangering the well being of the children.

Detectives found a meth lab and precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine.  Some finished product from the cook was also found.
