PINCKNEYVILLE, IL (KFVS) - The Perry County Health Department has confirmed three cases of H1N1 in the county.
Those confirmed cases include an infant, a grade-school age girl, and a man in his forties. The health department encourages everyone to take an active role in preventing the spread of the H1N1 virus and other illnesses by covering your cough and sneeze. You should also wash your hands frequently and stay home when you're sick.
Also, the Center for Disease Control said if you are sick, stay home until your fever has been gone for at least 24 hours without using any fever reducing medicine.
