WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) - As police continue to investigate what happened in a West Frankfort home, family and friends say they cannot believe what happened.

"They were very quiet.  There was never a lot of noise," said neighbor Ruth Cutsinger.

That was until Monday afternoon when West Frankfort police responded to a home in the 200 block of North Douglas Street.  Family members tell Heartland News they called police after phone calls to 32-year-old Terri Seibeck were not returned.  Heartland News spoke with Siebeck's aunt soon after she learned of her niece's death.

"She was just a sweet little girl.  A lot of memories," Debbie Aaron said.

Police found Seibeck and 28-year-old Kandis Majors inside the home.  Investigators say both had been shot several times.  As police sealed off the crime scene, Tabatha Allen says she drove by.

"Just passing by with my cousin Stephen and I saw a friend out she'd told me what happened," Allen said.

Allen says she met Majors through her sister ten years ago.  She remembers the 28 year old as a person who made people laugh.

"She was a fun outgoing person.  She got along with everybody," Allen said.  "I was devastated by what happened."

To figure out just what happened, Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators spent much of Tuesday inside the home where the bodies were found.

Meanwhile, police continued to look for 30-year-old Michael A. Schallert and 19-year-old Afton D. Ferris.  Investigators say both are persons of interest in this homicide investigation.  Schallert and Ferris are originally from the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.  Apparently, they recently move to West Frankfort.  Police say they might still be driving a 2003 Tan Chevy Impala with Illinois license plates, a car allegedly stolen from one of the victims.

"Everybody just crying you knows, I just can't believe it happened," Allen said.

For what actually happened inside that home, the investigation continues.  However, as police finally removed crime tape late Tuesday afternoon two families are still left without their loved ones.

An autopsy on both Majors and Seibeck was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

If you have any information about the this double homicide call the West Frankfort Police department at 618-937-3503.
