MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - A Murphysboro man was arrested Wednesday on charges of posessing child pornography and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
According to investigators with the Jackson County Sheriff's Dept., Gary W. Cerutti, 45, was arrested after deputies received a complaint from someone stating they'd seen inappropriate images on a home computer.
During the investigation, it was discovered that numerous images depicting child pornography were indeed on the computer, along with other inappropriate media, deputies said.
Cerutti is in the Jackson County Jail and awaiting his first court appearance.
