CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Carbondale police arrested two men for four separate robberies.
Kristopher Cash, 20, was taken into custody for robberies in the South Thompson area and at a business in the 2100 block of South Illinois Avenue.
In both instances police say he used a handgun.
Cash was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
Officers are trying to determine if these robberies may be connected with one on the Southern Illinois University campus which happened the same night.
Carbondale police also arrested 43-year-old Sylvester L. Brewster for two robberies.
Brewster is accused of robbing a business in the 300 block of East Walnut Street early Sunday morning.
Police say some cash was taken in that robbery.
Then, officers later discovered he was apparently involved with another robbery on October 29th. This one occurred just up the road from the last robbery.
