STE. GENEVIEVE, MO (KFVS) - Two people from Ste. Genevieve face charges in connection with a murder that happened Desoto, Missouri in August.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Kenneth Ritrovato Jr. faces charges of 1st degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Chester Scherer.
Angela Parker faces a charge of tampering with physical evidence.
Deputies found Scherer's body in rural Desoto several weeks after he was first reported missing.
According to police, he was stabbed to death.
Ritrovato remains in jail without bond.
Parker was also behind bars $75,000 cash only bond.
