Poplar Bluff man sentenced to 6 years for drug offenses

UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A Poplar Bluff man received a six year sentence after guilty plea to felony drug charges.

Jason M. Kendrick of Poplar Bluff, Missouri entered a guilty plea to one count of possession of a deadly substance, a class 1 felony, at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro on November 24.

In the early morning of November 11, Kendrick was spotted taking two small tanks of anhydrous ammonia from a business in Ware.

Kendrick was arrested by the Union County Sheriff's Office and Anna Police Department after a high speed chase through Union and Alexander counties. The Union County Drug Task Force also assisted in the arrest.
