(KFVS) - An earthquake hit the Heartland Friday morning sending shockwaves across all four states.
According to the USGS, the quake hit at 5:38 a.m., was measured at 3.1 and was at a depth of 5.6 miles.
The USGS reports the epicenter was 9 miles south of New Madrid.
So far, there are no reports of any damage, but callers into the newsroom are saying it sent a strong jolt through houses Friday morning.
