LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville police say the shooting that resulted in three deaths and a critical injury at a condominium complex was domestic-related. A police spokesman says the suspect in the case appears to be among those killed yesterday at Lakeview Condominiums.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Sullivan University is offering $70,000 worth of scholarships to aspiring chefs as part of a program sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. The Louisville-based school will provide the scholarships to Junior Chef champions who will be crowned in a statewide competition in August.

NEW CASTLE, Ky. (AP) - People traveling south on Interstate 71 for the next few days will find some lanes closed as state inspectors examine the bridge over the CSX railroad at mile point 32.3. The inspection will run from today through next Wednesday.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (AP) - The U.S. secretary of education is traveling to Kentucky and Ohio to promote President Barack Obama's proposal for a major expansion of early childhood education. Secretary Arne (AR'-nee) Duncan's visit to the region today includes a morning discussion at an early childhood education center in Louisville, Ky., and an anti-bullying forum in Cincinnati in the evening.
