CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - Police arrested a Carbondale man after another man was found shot to death.

Jaylend Glispie, 20, faces a murder charged after 20-year-old Christopher Ward of Sparta was found dead at a home in the 400 block of S. Gay Street.

Carbondale Police say they received a call about the shooting at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a personal dispute between Ward and Glispie who were acquaintences and that Glispie fled the scene on foot.

Murphysboro Police found Glispie in Murphysboro during a traffic stop at 3:38 a.m.  He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
