Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Kate Perkins from Patton, Missouri:
"Kudos to the people of Patton...Highway 51 was completely blocked by trees downed by our (recent) storm. There was no waiting for MODOT...the neighborhood immediately (took control) armed with chainsaws and tractors and cleared the highway...take notice folks, Patton sticks together, helps neighbors, and can be counted on in an emergency. I wouldn't live anywhere else."
Beth Hubbard from Madison County, Missouri:
"We are the family that owns the cabin and lake behind the Childers home off 518 in Madison County...we wanted to thank KFVS12 for the wonderful coverage that you provided on the (missing boy). Thank you for getting volunteers to come out...it was truly an amazing experience."
Paula Switzer from Carterville, Illinois:
"(Regarding) the rising taxes on cigarettes...why don't the politicians offer to take a pay cut to help the economy. They make too much money anyhow. Let them see how it feels to be poor...leave us alone, you have done enough...don't take our smokes from us."
Steve Walkenstick from Cape Girardeau County:
"I watched Mike Smythe's ViewPoint about eHarmony.com being forced to (add) the gay website...I don't have anything against gays and lesbians but why should we be forced to act like we are ‘in love with them.' I don't see where the courts are forcing gay and lesbian sites to put heterosexual sections on and offer six months of free listings. Seems unbalanced to me."
