Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Eugene Kandal from Benton, Illinois:
"The state government wants to pass a bill doing away with state funded programs. These programs are very important to millions of people and do not have to be cut. There are other ways to fix the budget problems without cutting programs and raising taxes...now is the time for everyone in Illinois to stand together and tell all the government offices all the way to the President that cutting programs and raising taxes (should not happen) at a time the world is in a difficult state."
Rick Wadlow from Pinckneyville, Illinois:
"I heard someone whining to Mike Smythe about the David Letterman Show. These people were apparently ‘offended'...their response was to contact Smythe and say they would never watch KFVS12 because of the programming. Wake Up People!!! If a program offends you turn it off and stop watching it...we are not obligated to blame the station that airs any one particular program."
Helen Cretes from Williamsville, Missouri:
"Kudos to Autry Morlan for saving the home of a bird family and to KFVS for sharing (the story) with viewers. (It's) refreshing to see good news. Not all news is bad news."
Michael Pierce from Villa Ridge, Illinois:
"My wife (and family members) were hit in Cairo. I would like to thank the emergency officials who responded to the accident. They were quick and very helpful...however, the driver and owner of the other car ignored the law and let the insurance go...a drunk driver gets his car impounded and is arrested for breaking the law. Why do we let other law breakers go who do damage and injury?"
