Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Mary Lee Pavloff from Zeigler, Illinois:
"Seniors are not getting a raise this coming year on Social Security. Will someone explain to me why we can send space ships in space, which costs (billions) and leave us to make ends meet? I have always believed that outer space is a waste of money."
Tom Brown from Dexter, Missouri:
"I recently married my finance' from the Philippines. We paid our fees and did all the (proper) paperwork. (I) received a letter saying she cannot have a work visa and is no longer allowed to stay in the country. They gave no reason for denial and said it could not be appealed. We've done everything we were supposed to do for her to stay and my government says she has to leave the country now, yet thousands of illegals are allowed to stay. This is America and this is not right."
Heartland viewer, Nancy Allen:
"I have just one thing to say about Mike Smythe's ViewPoint on jelly bracelets and sexual meanings: ‘AMEN'!! If people would look back and see the difference when parents had control and not the children they could see a BIG difference."
Ed Rhodes from Ironton, Missouri:
"I watched a news story on an Arkansas town that is promoting a ‘no handshake zone' in order to cut down on the spread of the H1N1 flu. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The virus will spread in any number of ways. This is political correctness run amuck."
