BENTON, MO (KFVS) - Two additional arrests have been made in connection with a Sept. 27 meth lab bust, said Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.
Christopher Groves, 23, of Wyatt, MO, has been charged with three counts of possessing marijuana and possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, Walter said. Bond has been set at $15,000.
In addition, Walter said Jeremy Britt, 26, Olive Branch, IL, has been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $15,000.
Heath M. Siars, 26, of Sikeston, was previously charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Siars has posted bond to appear in court Oct. 28.
Walter said the arrests are the results of a phone complaint in which someone reported a child endangerment situation at a home near Sikeston. After searching the home, investigators reported finding meth and ingredients used to make meth, along with what they believed to be marijuana and meth.
Walter also said three children, ages 1, 3, and 5, were living in the home.
