Say goodbye to sinking and getting stuck in the grass? Oh, and say hello to TV's Leeza Gibbons. "OK, my friend Leeza wears heels better than anybody I know" says KLTV's Joe Terrell. "I only wear them
But in a world where we encase our cell phones, our sunglasses - we even sell cases to cover our suitcases - do we really need cap covers for our high heels?

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -Normally, the crew at Elite Development in Cape drains oil from their mowers by simply unscrewing the plug on the mower, tipping it over, and letting it drain into an oil pan. With LiquiVac, there's no need. Instead, the vacuum suction tube pumps it out, supposedly, in seconds.

First, Steven Walker assembles it with no problems. The LiquiVac we're testing is for small engines, like a push mower. Next, the directions say to let the engine run for a few minutes to slightly warm the oil. Then, give the LiquiVac about 15 to 20 pumps.

This is what should happen once Steven and helper Dustin Gill release the clamp on the tube, the suction should pump that oil right out of the mower, but the guys notice a hissing noise.

Good thing they do their own oil changes anyways. They realize something's missing with the Liquivac. We can't find the included gasket anywhere, so they reach into their own toolbox and get things going. What a difference that makes.

"This will probably open the market to people who want to learn to do a few things on their own," says Steven.

The guys are impressed, but still want to know if all the oil is out. That's important, too, explains Chris Taormina with Semo Motor Sports.

"What oil you don't get out of there is going to contaminate your new oil, so you're defeating your own purpose if there's still oil in your crank case," says Taormina.

There's still a bit left in the mower once the guys turn it over, but they all feel confident another try with the Liqui Vac and it would have been extracted, as promised.

"I'd give it a 'B" says Steven.

"I'd say a 'B' would be fine," says Chris.

Good grades, yes, but as you probably guessed, guys like this don't have a need for the Liqui Vac.

"I still think it'd work great for the average homeowner who doesn't have many tools," says Steven.

So, the $35 LiquiVac works pretty much as promised, although the guys aren't sure this is any faster than draining the oil as normal. Still, it makes the task a bit cleaner, and definitely wipes up a good grade 'B' on this Does it Work test.  You can buy the LiquiVac at Lowes or on-line.
