JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - A third suspect in the case pleaded not guilty to murder, burglary and attempted arson charges in the triple murder in Cape Girardeau in October 2009.

Samuel "Ray Ray" Hughes, 25, appeared before Judge William Syler Monday.

Police say Hughes went with suspect, Ryan Patterson, to a home on North Missouri Avenue back in October.

Court records say Hughes served as lookout while Patterson shot and killed Jamie Orman, her unborn son, and her 15-year-old son, Derrick.

Hughes will be back in court on February 16th.

Meantime, Michelle Lawrence's change of venue was granted to Bollinger County.  She'll be back in court on January 22.
