SEDGEWICKVILLE, MO (KFVS) -Ever forget to toss in a dryer sheet when switching loads of laundry? Fret no more--this is where the Bounce Dryer Bar comes into play.

"I do a lot of laundry with 2 little kids, you have a lot," said mom, Becky Angle of Sedgewickville.

Becky spends a good part of her day chasing after her two little munchkins, three year-old Elijah and one year-old Josie.

"Yeah, I think it'll help because a lot of times that I go to put in a load of laundry, and I don't remember if I've put in fabric softener or not, and then I have to re-wash it, so!"

With the Bounce Dryer Bar, you "stick it and forget it," and it's supposed to last up to two months.

"Kind of looks like a bar of soap."

So, will it leave behind a soapy residue as the clothes brush over the top? We'll see. Simply stick it to the drum of the dryer and go. We leave Becky's towels in the dryer for a few minutes, then open up the door just to see what's happening so far.

"It's still attached. With the dark laundry, you'd probably be able to see it, so."

Time will tell if this dryer bar stays attached during high heat, and if it truly leaves the clothes feeling soft and smelling fresh.

"The only concern I have is if it will leave something on the laundry since it's in there the whole time."

Becky did a few more loads of laundry and later told me her towels felt extra fluffy. The kids' PJ's had some static, but then she rubbed them over the bar and fixed the problem. So, I'll leave the Dryer Bar at the Angle's home and check back in two months...or sooner if this bar doesn't hold up. Right now though, it appears the $4 Bounce Dryer Bar is working quite well in this home. We'll see what kind of marks it gets during "part two" of this Does it Work test.

Meantime, a few of you commented on your experience. Here are a few.

Chris Silman in Benton, MO Missouri said, "I bought the Bounce Bar for my wife. She asked me to buy another one last week. She's very happy with it. We no longer use dryer sheets!"

Kim Rhody of Campbell though says, "The first time I used it, the bar broke off into two little balls. We did not have good luck with it."

Sherri Wilson of Paducah writes, "I love this product! I've used it for a month, and it works 100% better than dryer sheets."

Again, Lauren will follow-up with her tester and let you know the results on an upcoming edition of Does it Work Wednesday on The Breakfast Show and Heartland News at 10pm.
