Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Pamela Stephens from Qulin, Missouri:
"It's distressing that KFVS12 does not provide the crop prices on Heartland News at 5, 6 or 10 p.m. The stock market report is given more than once daily…the economy of our region is driven by agriculture and its many affiliated occupations…are the many farm families that are loyal KFVS12 watchers not deserving of the few seconds it would take to provide the information?"
Laurie Keith from Marston, Missouri:
"I have worked in health care as a medical assistant for 22 years. Mike Smythe is wrong when he says the doctors have the final say as to what drugs are prescribed for a patient…most often the doctor has to prescribe what the insurance company tells the doctor what they will pay for…the physicians are not treating the patients anymore, the insurance companies are."
Veronica Lopez from Cape Girardeau:
"I am a full time college student and also work at a local restaurant as a server. I depend on tips to pay my bills…servers who receive tips get paid just over $3 per hour…I know times are tough but go to a (fast food) restaurant if you can't afford to tip. A decent tip is between 15% to 20% due to the cost of living…10% is considered an insult although it is better than nothing. For those of you giving us a card with your own religious views on it instead of a tip is (not) appropriate."
Charles Naas from Ridgway, Illinois:
"Everyone's vote counts the same regardless of integrity. Politicians brag about how much money they spend in their own districts. Isn't it time we have term limits on all politicians? Let's change things in state capitols as well as in Washington, DC."
