RISCO, MO (KFVS) - It's been four years to the day since 35-year-old Teresa Butler went missing. She vanished from her home in New Madrid County.

Sheriff Terry Stevens tells Heartland News they department continues its investigation. In fact, the case brought in a new lead just last week.

Butler's husband reported her missing on January 25, 2006. Authorities say her husband reported her missing after returning home from work in Blytheville, AR and finding his two young sons home alone. Butler is not considered a suspect.

Teresa Butler is white, 5' 7" and 110 pounds. She had dark brown to black hair and brown eyes when she disappeared.
