Dr. James Gould from Paducah, Kentucky:
"I am curious to know why KFVS12 has not addressed the Sustained Growth Rate payment reduction to healthcare providers to be implemented (in March) by the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS)? Major providers of health care are refusing to see new Medicare patients. Reasons include costly Federal regulations, time consuming documentation requirements, and the potential for monetary penalties for ‘improper' patient management. The CMS plans a 21.5% reduction in payments to all physicians and an additional 6% cut in payments to cardiologists and oncologists. NEARLY 30%...this country is about to see a REAL healthcare crisis! Those who have served the country and grown up with a work ethic are about to be abandoned by the government that they have supported over the years."
Dustin Firebaugh from Fredericktown, Missouri:
"Everyone is talking about 2nd Amendment rights, Nostradamus 2012, and religion. I believe in a free society where people can walk, run, and talk as they please…getting a great message (out) so people can (do) what they please without (being) persecuted…we need to stay focused on education."
