Neckline Slimmer: Does it Work? Fitness Week Special

By Lauren Keith - bio | email

PIEDMONT, MO (KFVS) - Neckline Slimmer promises to take inches off your double-chin in just a few minutes a day. The commercial states, "It does for your neckline, what exercise does for your body."

Tressa Robbins is one of many ready to check that out for herself. She's already lost 45 pounds the tried and true way...exercising and watching what she eats.

"But anytime you lose that amount of weight, you feel like you have extra skin to lose, So, that's the reason I wanted to take a look at this."

First, we assemble the neck exerciser. The directions tell you to start out with the weakest coils and work your way up through the color-coded levels of resistance in each spring.

"I mean I can feel a little resistance. I don't know if I feel it here."

But Tressa definitely feels some tension when she opens her jaw, just like one of the examples the booklet gives you.

"There I feel it!"

But Tressa also feels a little awkward, and so do I when I give it a try.  If this works, it might be worth the giggles, but we're already skeptical.

"I don't know if it will tighten that skin."

She vows to use this everyday for the next two months because Neckline Slimmer promises that dedication will turn into impressive results.

"In just two minutes a day, these women took years off their faces!"

And two months later...

"I didn't see any results."

Tressa says the entire time during her daily routines, she could feel resistance. She used all the springs, but she never saw her face and neck tone up, as promised. Instead, she actually ended up going to the chiropractor because her jaw hurt so much!

"I started having neck pains, tightening of muscles."

Not tightening of the skin.

"I thought this was going to be the cheap way of getting a mini facelift to tighten skin, and it wasn't."

For $20...it's not worth your time or troubles, in our opinion.

"I would give it a grade 'F."

We found Neckline Slimmer doesn't tone up anything in our two-month test. Instead, it earns one big fat "F" on this Does it Work fitness test.

The consensus was clear in Ms. Beers' third grade class at Jefferson Elementary, the Fingerlings baby monkey is a toy they want.
