Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Sandra Dowdy from Malden, Missouri:
"I am upset with the John Pershing VA Medical Center and for our veterans that have served us in war. My son…went to the emergency room twice with chest pain and tingling…twice they give him an aspirin, put an IV in him, took blood and made him sit. (Recently) they performed x-rays but he couldn't be seen until 5:00 p.m. Instead, another discharged soldier received an annual medical checkup. (He) had no symptoms…the hospital makes people with pain and symptoms wait until it is convenient for them. (Are) they not responsible enough to take care of our sick veterans?"
Southern Illinois viewer Jacquelyn Corder:
"This letter should have been sent a long time ago. I want to thank KFVS for the coverage of my missing father last December. All of the staff from KFVS12 news was very helpful and comforting. Julia Bruck was very kind and empathetic during my family's time of distress and sadness. Every time I see her on television I think of how thoughtful and caring she was during our search. There was a sad end to our search but KFVS12 news did all it could to help."
Diana Hicks from Mount Vernon, Illinois:
"I am disgusted with the school system. My grandson is ADHD, ADD and is trying to work on anger issues. The school used to have a class for his disorder but stopped because it did not see that just four kids with the same disorder warranted a teacher…teachers should be schooled to handle these types of students because a regular teacher has no clue…something needs to happen to help these kids so they can have a chance to learn."
