Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Judge William L. Syler, 32nd Judicial Circuit, State of Missouri:
"I would like to express my appreciation for the recent (news feature) regarding Commissioner Paul Koeper's efforts to make the Cape Girardeau County courthouses more secure. Security, or lack of it, has been a concern of mine for some time…the resulting program (on KFVS12) was informative and objective. Kathy Sweeney met with some resistance from county officials who felt that any disclosure regarding the lack of security might jeopardize those who work in the courthouses. My personal feeling is just the opposite. I very much appreciate Ms. Sweeney's efforts to bring this matter to Heartland News. This is something which should not be swept under the table. It is my hope that through her efforts our courthouses will become more secure for members of the public as well as those who work there on a daily basis."
Jen Sievers from Jackson, Missouri:
"Social security recipients should not be denied their annual cost of living raise…the government should cut out waste and corruption and quit giving millions of taxpayers' hard earned dollars away needlessly and recklessly. Government officials and overpaid staff members should take a big pay cut."
