Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Bob McKim from Piggott, Arkansas:
"I have seen several ads concerning ‘Quitting Cold Turkey.' I enjoy sliced cold turkey (and) it is also lower in calories…cold turkey is good for you so why stop it. Perhaps the news media should stick to other campaigns for stopping the use of cigarettes and tobacco products instead (of using Cold Turkey)."
Sandi Heidorn from Jackson, Missouri:
"Last year I (visited) New York on a regular basis and there is a non-smoking law in all bars and restaurants. If you want to smoke, you go outside. The places were packed. I think a universal non-smoking ban in restaurants and bars is a good thing."
Rick Marshall from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"(Regarding Mike Smythe's ViewPoint on schools not being able to use a church for high school graduations) Today's culture is very different…churches used to be engrained and a part of the community. It is sad that a few can dictate or sue because they feel the church (is) not a proper setting for their child."
Heartland viewer Mike Buttry:
"Since when did the whims of a few outweigh the vote of the majority…the government and schools cannot force any beliefs on anyone…if you don't like the way a school conducts a graduation exercise, don't attend!"
