Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Melissa Workman from Mount Vernon, Illinois:
"I wish people would back off of Facebook. You don't like it? Don't use it. Millions of people do enjoy it and a (YourTurn) person wants to ruin it for everyone. Stay away from it if YOU don't like it. If YOU got a virus that is YOUR fault for clicking on links, when people specifically call that virus out. Also, I am sick of Pit-Bulls being in the news as bad dogs. GET OVER IT! They are GREAT family pets! If owners knew what they were doing with them and how to monitor their own kids around animals they wouldn't be getting hurt. Learn some responsibility!
Heather Smith from Marble Hill, Missouri:
"I agree with the mother from Texas defending her son against the school for discriminating against his long hair. What gives schools a right to tell parents that our children have to cut their hair a certain way? My son went through the same thing at a local school. We cut his hair into a SHORT Mohawk. You couldn't really notice it but the school called and said my son wasn't allowed to come back unless I shaved it off. I shaved it off but believe schools should be more worried about grades instead of looks. Give me a break!"
Heartland viewer Lawrence Rodgers:
"(Regarding Mike Smythe's ViewPoint) I am for the smoking ban in public places. (Also), field burning should be banned. People have to breathe this polluted air and it gets all over our houses and cars. It is a health risk for folks with breathing problems. (We) should fight this nasty situation with petitions and get it on the ballot for a vote."
