Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
James Triplett from East Prairie, Missouri:
"Regarding local elections, you see it over and over again, people elected on name recognition alone. No experience, no knowledge of what they are getting into, and many with little or no common sense. It seems like the most common skill among those elected is going around talking a lot of bull, if you know what I mean."
Dr. Dorothy Munch from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"(Regarding Mike Smythe's ViewPoint on credit scores and auto insurance) it is very troubling that motorists with poor credit are being punished by the insurance companies. What does poor credit have to do with driving? This seems to be economic profiling. These companies should be sanctioned by Missouri's Insurance Commission…the number is on the website…I admire Smythe for taking this on."
Linda Harris from Cape Girardeau:
"I have seen the people with their petitions to ban smoking in Cape. I think the whole thing is foolish…the only places I can think of that you CAN smoke are bars, private clubs, and a few restaurants that have separate areas for smokers. The anti-smoking faction needs to get off their high horses and put their energy into more productive areas. I am a smoker and I consider myself a considerate smoker."
