Police arrested a Park Hills woman after police say she tried to get her son to kill her husband.

Christy comes to the Heartland from the NBC affiliate, KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri where she worked as a reporter, anchor, and web editor. She especially enjoyed reporting for her weekly franchise "8 On Your Money," where she highlighted issues that affect your pocketbook.
Christy has also worked as an intern for KBIA, the NPR affiliate in Columbia, as well as Shale-TV in Dallas, Texas, and Standard & Poor's Ratings Services in New York City. She enjoyed freelancing for FashionEdits.com, and Art International Radio, both based in New York City.
Christy is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, and loves to cheer on her Mizzou Tigers! She has grown up throughout the Midwest and South, living in Kansas City, Columbia, and Dallas.
