SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A grand jury in Saline County indicted former sheriff's deputy Todd Fort on two more charges Tuesday.

Investigators say Fort was indicted on two counts of theft of governmental property by deception exceeding $300 but not exceeding $10,000.  Both are class 2 felonies.

Fort is accused of billing shipping costs incurred from his private business, Todd Fort Civil Process Service, to the Saline County Sheriff's Department from June 2, 2008 to March 8, 2010.  The costs were paid by the county to Federal Express.

Todd Fort is also accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl who worked at his office.

Fort also faces 10 counts of sexual assault and official misconduct.

His attorney says he plans to hire a couple expert witness to analyze DNA and computer evidence.

The prosecution also plans to hire an expert witness.

On January 14, the judge gave them until March 18 to have all the evidence filed with the court.

Fort's final pre-trial on April 8 at 9 a.m.  His jury trial is scheduled for May 4.

Fort retired from the sheriff's department in August.

He filed a letter of resignation as president of the Harrisburg School Board in November.
