Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Shirley Yeager from Perryville, Missouri:
"Mike Smythe's ViewPoint on McDonald's was great! I order hamburger Happy Meals for myself. Less burger, fewer fries (equals) less calories. My dog Hank gets a treat and my granddaughter Alexandria gets a toy…me, the dog, and my granddaughter (are) all happy!"
Loretta Robison from Ullin, Illinois:
"I'm disturbed about the CBS programs that immediately follow the evening news every (night). They are based on the blatant pursuit of sex as the topic. One evening in particular ‘How I Met Your Mother' – ‘Rules of Engagement' – Two and a Half Men' - ‘Mike and Molly.' I agree they are funny but all the more attractive to our young people who are not restricted as to what they watch…I realize there is an off button on my remote and I don't have to watch these programs. I'm just concerned about our young people who are being molded into accepting this way of life as normal."
Rod Lipe from Cape Girardeau:
"As if parents and grandparents don't have enough to worry about (with) their children and grandchildren, ‘Skins' makes its appearance on MTV. Exactly where is the line going to be drawn on television shows? This peep show should be taken off the air before it does any more damage to teens' minds."
