RIPLEY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Two suspects in a brutal Ripley County murder case say they're innocent.
Ripley County Sheriff Ron Barnett says Melissa Youngblood and her daughter, Chantale pleaded not guilty Friday in the deaths of Ed Atkinson and Bonnie Chase.
Investigators found the bodies inside a burned home in Doniphan in 2011.
Autopsy results show both died of gunshot wounds.
The sheriff also says a judge granted Chantale Youngblood a change of venue. She'll be tried in Franklin County, Mo.
Her mother Melissa wants a new judge, but so far no ruling on that.
Also charged in the murders is Melissa Youngblood's husband David. He'll be in court in March and Chantale's boyfriend Keith Boyles. Boyles will also be in court in March, and will undergo a mental evaluation.
