Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Rick Marshall from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"(Regarding Mike Smythe's ViewPoint on low test scores) the ‘no child left behind' wanted all of us to (believe) our teachers were at fault and this was a law to place blame…it is not the teachers' fault. It is not about blaming…simply it's up to that one child who wants to learn or not to learn."
Heartland viewer Sherry Bollinger:
"I am so glad Lauren Keith is back…she is bubbly, vivacious, and (is) a perfect fit with Jim Burns…Lauren you're a perfect match and we truly missed your sweet, smiling face…we hope to see you for years to come. God Bless you, your husband and your new baby girl."
Anitha Perez from Carbondale, Illinois:
"I am appalled at the way the federal government (allows) universities to continue to rack up student loans under someone's name and social security number and they are not attending classes…this is a travesty of injustice and what is worse they are allowed to file income taxes on the students loans under a person's social security number. Why the government can't put a stop to this is beyond my understanding."
