"It would be handy if it works!"

Amy Leger loves using her iPad and welcomes any new accessory like the HandStand.

She normally holds her iPad with two hands, but with this, she won't necessarily have to.

"It turns pretty easily!"

In fact, the HandStand can rotate 360 degrees. It's supposed to be a more comfortable hold and prevent all that fumbling and bumbling around when you're launching an app.

"If I'm sitting down, I'm propping it on my knees."

But when she adds the HandStand to her iPad, Amy says it adds some weight.

"It's a little bit taxing after awhile."

She changes her position physically and intellectually, when she uses the "stand" of the HandStand. This allows the iPad to function more as a true keyboard.

Meantime, the Hand Stand doesn't keep Amy's 4 yr. old son from watching his favorite flicks on the iPad.

So, are the two turning cartwheels over the HandStand?

"Overall I liked the aspect of laying it on the counter and propping it at an angle. That made it easy to use as a keyboard. Holding it in my hand? I didn't see that as more beneficial."

The HandStand comes in three colors and you'll have to remove any skins or covers when you slip it onto your device.

While Amy likes it, she's gonna wait for the price to come down before buying one.

"I wouldn't spend $50 for it---just the stand itself and cheaper, I'd buy. I'd probably give it a 'C.'

The HandStand works. It's compatible for iPad and iPad 2. It's durable and flexible, but we still can't stomach the $50 dollar price tag.
