FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear says rulings on President Barack Obama's health care law won't affect enrollees in Kentucky's state-run health exchange. Beshear says in a statement released by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services that premium assistance that Kentucky enrollees have qualified for also won't be affected by the rulings yesterday.

PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) - The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded a three-year, approximately $420 million order to Fluor Federal Services Io clean up and prepare the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant for future operations. The DOE is preparing for the return of the government-owned uranium enrichment plant that was built in the 1950s and leased to the Unted States Enrichment Corp. in 1993.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Volunteers are being recruited to assist with the National Future Farmers of America Convention in Louisville this fall. The convention is Louisville's largest, bringing more than 60,000 students and advisers.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - A Kentucky agency says 61 water treatment plants in the state consistently produced drinking water in 2013 that exceeded state and federal water-quality standards. The state Energy and Environment Cabinet said yesterday that the 61 systems are among 149 public and private water treatment plants in Kentucky that participated in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency program.
