Jacque Waller's parents predict break in case this week

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Jacque Waller was first reported missing on June 1, 2011 ... seven weeks ago. Since then, family and friends have continued to search for clues surrounding her disappearance.

On Sunday, Jacque Waller's parents joined searchers and dog teams from half a dozen states to look for their daughter.

"I predict a break in this case this week," said Stan Rawson, Jacque's father. "We want to give those kids answers about what happened to their momma."

"We just keep praying," said Ruby Rawson. "I am so touched to see all these people here."

This is one of the most extensive searches so far using horses ATVs and dog teams.

The director of the Cue Center for Missing Persons Monica Caison says their priority areas are constantly changing as new tips come in.

The weekend search was led by the CUE Center for Missing Persons.  "The family needs her for resolution to where they are right now and her children," said CUE Center Founder Monica Caison on Saturday. "And, law enforcement needs a resolution right now for her case. So, we are just trying as hard as we can right now to eliminate space, and then you keep re-evaluating where you've searched, you start coloring in that map and keep expanding. So, hopefully we come across the right area that she may be."

Volunteers met starting at 8 a.m. at the Sale/Livestock Barn on US Highway 61 in Jackson on Saturday.

Caison with CUE said food and water was supplied, but with the intense heat searchers should supply their own to stay hydrated.

"You get a drink of water, throw a cold rag over your neck and keep going," said Bonnie Myers, a family friend.

A helicopter was planned for the search as well.

"Sooner or later if we eliminate enough ground we will get to her," said Caison.

Meanwhile, family and friends continue to look for answers surrounding Jacque's disappearance.

The case has gotten national attention over the last several weeks and is garnering much publicity.

Clay Waller remains a person of interest in his wife's disappearance, but continues to maintain his innocence.
