LaDona DeKriek and Becky Ault from Sikeston, Missouri:
"We were delighted to hear Mike Smythe's ViewPoint regarding the use of monitoring services provided by the major credit reporting agencies. We tell our customers not to use them because they are never the same as the mortgage companies and car agencies. We wish the Federal Government regulated them as tightly as they regulate us in our credit repair business. We are uniting with other legitimate credit repair companies to get a lobbyist to help (with) regulations regarding standardizing credit reports…no two companies are alike…(our credit business) has been in business in Sikeston since 2007 and have great referrals from banks and mortgage accounts…check to see whether or not we have ever had a complaint by logging on the (Missouri) Attorney General's website. We are in Mike Smythe's corner."
Vickie Reed from Simpson, Illinois:
"I am furious that Congressional representatives do not want to make concessions raising taxes on higher income Americans…in these hard times how can (people) be so selfish…they are a privileged breed of their own who think of themselves as better and more wise than the rest of us."
Robert Ryman from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"I live on Social Security disability. If Congress can't come up with a balanced budget they should not get paid…if they had not voted to let big companies move overseas in 2000 there would be a lot more jobs…(when) our troops come home I just hope they can find jobs."
