About half of the states have made the decision to expand Medicaid. Missouri lawmakers are currently debating the matter in Jefferson City. How will what legislators decide impact the state, and those currently living without health insurance?

SENATH, MO (KFVS) -

A public prayer vigil for Breeann Rodriguez was held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Senath City Park.

Those who attended were asked to wear white, pink or orange.  White balloons were released in Breeann's honor.

"We just want her to feel our love," said Claudia Ramos, Breeann's mother.  "We thank everyone for helping us.  It's helped keep us strong."

Originally the vigil was planned for 6 p.m., but there was a dove release at 5:30 p.m.

Visitation for Breeann will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Senath Church of Christ Church, with a funeral to follow at 4 p.m. at the church. Her body will be carried to the Senath Cemetery for burial.

The family asks everyone to wear white to the funeral. The public is also welcome to the afternoon service.

Dunklin County law enforcement say a member of the Missouri Highway Patrol's water patrol division found the remains Tuesday evening while searching by boat.  Breeann had been missing since August 6 when she disappeared while riding her bike near her home in Senath.

The floodway where Breeann was found is the body of water near Hornersville, where divers were searching for her just days ago. It is about eight miles from her home. It's also the same area where they found Breeann's bike.

Officials say her parents were notified shortly after she was located.  "We feel a little better," Ramos said.  "We know she is not suffering. We know she is in a better place.

On Saturday, police arrested a neighbor, 43-year-old Shawn Morgan, who reportedly confessed to killing Breeann.  He made his first court appearance Tuesday.

Morgan did not enter a plea and will be back in court on August 30.

Meantime, a fund has been set up for the Rodriguez family.  Donations to "The Rodriguez Family Fund" can be made to any Senath State Bank location in Senath, Arbyrd, and Kennett.
