Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Steve Morrison from Fredericktown, Missouri:
"I would hope that Congress and other elected officials would take notice of the public dissatisfaction with government, but I fear not…we should push to have donations to any party, a group effort that is later split evenly with the members. In other words, it would be illegal for any politician to accept an individual donation….this would put all campaigns on the same level…if they all have the same limit to start with you would be able to see who does the best with the least amount possible… eliminating corruption in our government is the only way to get our government working for what is best for all instead of the guy with the deepest pockets."
Rachel Clark from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"I appreciate President Obama. I am very tired of him being blamed for every single thing that goes wrong in America. In the minds of many, former President Bush could do no wrong even though he sent us into a war that we had no business being in, the same war that is still costing America billions of dollars. The debt ceiling debacle we just went through was nonsense. Former President Bush raised the debt ceiling seven times during his years in office and we never heard a word against him for doing it."
Heartland viewer Ronny Adams:
"I am happy to see KFVS12 and WQWQ broadcasting the St. Louis Rams pre-season games this fall. Many thanks!"
