Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Sherry Kirk from Sikeston, Missouri:
"I have never been so outraged as to learn that the funding for children's counseling for drugs (will) be cut. What has to happen before the youth become the main focus for the future? If the people responsible for these decisions ever have a child who needs these services…only then will they know how important they are. Fighting the battle against drugs begins with the children."
Jean LaGois from Cape Girardeau:
"I agree truck drivers should be banned using cell phones while driving. I also (believe) that all drivers should be banned from using their phones. Nothing is more important than paying attention to driving. It saves lives. If I use my phone, I stop and/or park. I either answer it or call someone back. Most often, I have it off when operating a motor vehicle.
Judy Brannum from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"How can we as parents feel safe about our kids being on a school bus where there are no seatbelts? The kids are allowed to stand up, sit on their knees in the seats, and hang out windows. How is that fair and just requirement of our laws?"
