An 11 year old Columbus girl wanted to do something special to support the troops fighting overseas, so she wrote a letter to a soldier in Afghanistan. On Father's Day, she found out just how much that simple gesture meant to the sergeant who received it.
LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
A head-on collision sent three people to the hospital, one of them a Longview Police Officer.
Ramon Antonio Dominguez, 22, was driving Sunday when his car hit a patrol car driven by Longview Police Officer Leigh Ann Snyder.
Police say Officer Snyder had emergency surgery Sunday. They say her injuries are serious.
According to police, Dominguez lost control of his car on Loop 281, and hit the patrol vehicle.
We're told Officer Snyder also had a civilian rider with her-- identified as Courtney Walker.
Police say both Dominguez and Walker's injuries were non-life threatening.
