A Tiptonville man faces charges after police say he stole a Tennessee Department of Transportation vehicle and invaded a house.
Lake County Sheriff Bryan Avery says Joshua Spears, 30, of Tiptonville will face charges of vandalism, theft over $10,000, and aggravated battery.
TDOT reported a vehicle theft Dec. 23 from the maintenance headquarters in Wynnburg.
During the morning hours of Dec. 23, someone got through a secure area and took a TDOT vehicle by driving it through the entry gate, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The vehicle was found in Tunica County, Mississippi.
Spears is also charged in connection with a home invasion that happened the same night in Tiptonville.
