The announcement comes on the heels of a three-count indictment handed down Monday accusing Shepard of buying cattle from an East Texas sale barn and then not paying for them.

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -
Police arrested a female suspect after a Carbondale man was stabbed several times Sunday morning at an apartment complex.
It happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. at the Crosspointe Court Apartments at 920 East Walnut.

M. Douglas, 25, of Carbondale was arrested an charged with aggravated domestic battery. She was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro.
According to Carbondale police, officers went to the apartment on a domestic related stabbing.
When they arrived, officers say they found a man stabbed 4 to 5 times in the left side and back.
The female suspect left with the weapon and was seen walking west on East Walnut, according to police.
Officers were looking for her shortly after the incident at the America's Best Value Inn after reports of her entering a room.
The victim was taken to Carbondale Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Carbondale Police.
