The announcement comes on the heels of a three-count indictment handed down Monday accusing Shepard of buying cattle from an East Texas sale barn and then not paying for them.

A Fulton man is in critical condition after a hit and run Saturday night in Fulton. Fulton Police ask for information from the public on the hit and run.
Fulton Police received a report of a man lying on the ground screaming near the cemetery on North Highland Driver around 8:50 p.m. Saturday.
The man told police he was walking east on North Highland Drive when he was hit by a vehicle and it kept going.
The man was taken to Parkway Regional Hospital and later to the Med in Memphis, Tenn. He is in critical condition.
The Fulton Police Department is asking anyone with information about the hit and run of the pedestrian on Jan. 21 on North Highland Drive near the cemetery to call the Fulton Police Department at 270-472-3141.
