Commercial river traffic reopens near Eggner's Ferry Bridge

According to a news release, the US Army Corps of Engineers says the navigable channel is safe for commercial traffic after completing a channel survey Friday evening and finding no obstructions or debris near the Eggner's Ferry Bridge. We will have the latest on what officials are talking about tonight at six.

The Polar Bear Party in Carbondale is into it's 11th year. And each year Carbondale police say there are more problems. Arnold Wyrick was in Carbondale and will tell us what police are doing about these problems.

A 19-year-old was in serious condition Saturday after being hit by a train overnight in Carbondale.
