AMSTERDAM (RNN) - A grieving cat owner turned his fallen feline into a helicopter.

After his kitty cat was hit by a car, 30-something Dutchman Bart Jansen did what any grieving pet owner would do - he turned his beloved companion into a flying, zombie-like, remote controlled helicopter.

"Now he is finally flying with the birds," he said on one of his YouTube videos. "The greatest goal a cat could ever reach!"

By Tuesday morning, the video had captured more than a half-million views.

Orville (as in, the Wright brother) is now half-cat, half-machine, with four propellers jutting out from his arms and legs. He also sports a permanently terrified visage.

Jansen calls it his "Orvillecopter."

The 'copter made its maiden voyage at Amsterdam's KunstRai Art Fair last weekend.

Jansen plans to rev up Orville's engines because that is exactly what every dead cat-turned machine needs.

Birds and cat ladies, beware.
