(WMC-TV) - Police are searching for two Mid-South teens who went missing on the water.

Investigators are searching along the Loosahatchie River for the two 17-year-old boys, who were last heard from around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Authorities were notified around 11 Monday night that they were missing.

The boat does not have a motor.

Shelby County Sheriff's Office, helicopter, Coast Guard, and Harbor Patrol are searching from the river bottoms to the mouth where the Loosahatchie meets the Mississippi River.

Deputies have located the teen's vehicle.
