Mo. motorcyclist dies from injuries after Hardin County, Ill. crash

HARDIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

A motorcyclist from Missouri is dead after a crash Thursday afternoon in Hardin County, Illinois.

It happened at 2:22 p.m. on Lamb Road, 1/2 mile west of Tucker Hill Road.

Timothy W. Scott, 59, of Wentzville, Missouri received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at Hardin County hospital shortly after 5 p.m., according to Illinois State Police.

Troopers say Scott was eastbound on Lamb Road when he lost control of a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle and swerved off the right side of the road.

The motorcycle then rolled 15 feet down an embankment south of Lamb Road.

Hardin County EMS and Illinois State Police assisted at the scene.
