We put a call out to folks in the Heartland asking them to tell us a little bit about their dad, and we honored several dads on the Weekend Breakfast Show Sunday.
1) Sonny Keesee, Jr. of Cape Girardeau - His daughter Karen Garland says Sonny has been a life-long inspiration to all of his kids, a loving husband to their mother Edna, and if you ask anyone who has met him and they would tell you "Sonny, is one of a kind." That's why Karen says: "Happy Father's Day dad. Thank you for all that you do!"
2) Terry Jackson - Daughter Julie Kelley says he's a super hard worker, always a good listener, and she says she always loved riding in his old Ford truck. Julie says she owes a lot to her father, so she says: "Thanks dad, you are truly the best."
3) Jim Bishop of Dogwood, MO – Jama Hubbard says Jim's always given his kids unconditional love and his time - which she says is the best gift of all.
4) "Papa" Mike Clark of Cape Girardeau - Daughter Brooke Wormington submitted a picture and grand-daughter Haidyn says: "Papa's great because he always plays with me and we like to watch baseball together."
