Carbondale police are investigating an armed robbery on Wednesday.
Police say it happened in the area of West Freeman Street and
South Dixon Street.
Officers say around 2:20 a.m. the victim was walking on West Freeman Street
when he was approached by two unknown black males. The suspects armed with a gun, then beat-up the victim and took property from him. The
suspects left the area on foot.
According to police, the victim was not hurt.
Police say the suspects are black
males wearing dark clothing. One of the males was described as having long
dreadlocks or braids.
