The New Madrid County Family Resource Center is sponsoring several workshops and meetings and a back to school fair in July.
On Monday, July 2, there is a Missouri Mentoring Partnership Worksite meeting at 3 p.m.
On Wednesday, July 4, the center will be closed in observance of Independence Day.
On Thursday, July 5, there will be a Missouri Mentoring Partnership Youth in Action meeting.
A Back to School Fair will start on July 27 in New Madrid and Risco on July 31 and Morehouse on August 3. They ask you call ahead to sign up children in grades K-12.
If you are age 16-21 the Missouri Mentoring Partnership says they can help you with resumes, job searches, mentoring and life challenges.
The center is also asking of empty inkjet or laser cartridges or cell phones for recycling.
