POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -
Poplar Bluff Police are looking for suspects after two armed robberies early Saturday morning.
Police say three men robbed a man outside his apartment in the 1200 block of West Harper Street around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police say one of the suspects pointed a pistol at the man's head and demanded everything in his pockets. The victim gave the suspects his wallet and cell phone.
The suspects are described as three black males possibly in their late teens, about 5'10" to 5'11", 125-150 lbs, with short close shaven haircuts. One suspect wore a white T-shirt and blue jeans, and had a black semi-auto handgun. Police say this suspect demanded money; a second suspect told the victim to hurry up and empty his pockets; the third suspect said nothing.
Then, around 2 a.m., a couple sleeping in a home in the 200 block of North B Street woke to three black males standing in their room, demanding money. As one victim began to get out of the bed, police say one of the suspects hit him in the head with a pistol. The suspects took a cell phone and a laptop computer and left the home.
The suspects in this robbery were described as:
A dark complected black male possibly in his late 20s or early 30s, 5'11" or 6', 160 to 180 lbs, with short dreadlocks, wearing something to cover the lower portion of his face, a jersey shirt and dark sweat pants and black shoes. This suspect had a black semi-auto pistol.
A medium complected black male, in his mid-20s, 5'9" to 5'10", 120 to 140 lbs, wearing a ball cap and had a red bandanna over the lower portion of his face, gray sweat pants and a solid red T-shirt.
A black male with a light complexion, possibly in his 30s, 6' 200 lbs, full round face, wearing black or gray sweat pants, a black T-shirt, and a tan jacket, with a short haircut and clean shaven face.
Anyone with information about either of these robberies is asked to call the Poplar Bluff Police Department at 573-785-5776.
